Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is: Priotecs IT GmbH, Lendersweg 11, 47877 Willich. Email: info@parata.app.

2. Accessing the website (server log files)

When you access this website, information is automatically stored in server log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer and user agent. This data is used solely for technical delivery, security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functional service). The logs are deleted after [X] days.

3. Cookies & analytics

This website sets no tracking cookies and embeds no third-party advertising or analytics services. No cross-site tracking takes place. A cookie is only set if you manually switch the language, in order to remember that choice.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process your details in order to handle the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no retention obligations apply.

5. App purchases (App Store / Google Play)

The purchase and delivery of the Parata app take place via the respective store (Apple or Google). Apple or Google is responsible for the data processing there; their privacy terms apply. We receive no personal payment or account data from the stores.

6. Data processing in the app

By default Parata stores all content you enter exclusively local and encrypted on your device — with no user account and no transfer of your emergency data to us or third parties. An export only happens when you trigger it yourself, and is encrypted too. Optionally you can enable an encrypted backup on servers in the EU with “Parata Cloud” and share folders with others; this only happens if you use that service yourself.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Please use the contact address above.
